Spam and viruses are separated from the mail stream and deleted or stored in a web-based quarantine. The Message Assurance Gateway also provides critical outbound mail filtering to prevent zombies - a virus-infected PC - from sending spam. Spam-spewing PCs frequently get the host email domain blacklisted, preventing all other users within the domain from sending email. When a zombie starts sending spam, Red Condor blocks the spam and notifies the domain administrator so that corrective action can be taken.

End users have secure access to their personal mailbox quarantine, which may be reviewed without downloading the email and placing the client and network at risk. Optional personal Spam Digest reports allow each mailbox owner to review their spam Quarantine without having to manage an extra "junk" mail folder.
Peace of Mind MAG Service includes disaster recovery email spooling for client mail servers. If a client mail server goes down, Red Condor stores inbound email while the server is brought back online. The Message Assurance Gateway Appliance is capable of handling over 25,000 mailboxes, and is scalable to hundreds of thousands of mailboxes when configured in a clustered multi-appliance architecture. The appliance locates the Red Condor anti-spam/anti-virus (ASAV) software within the customer's network, but leverages the shared resources of the Red Condor Security Operations Center (SOC) to provide up-to-the-minute managed service. - Red Condor's MAG-3 Dedicated On-Site Service is preferred by organizations that require on-site deployment for all email systems in order to meet security and privacy guidelines or comply with regulatory restrictions.
